Marilyn has been a guest speaker at women’s conferences in the United States and overseas. She has worked with many women who are experiencing loss. Her work as an artist and writer inspires her work with those who are grieving.

Marilyn is available to speak and visit book groups that are reading Empty Branch. She is also available to give public readings and author interviews.

Marilyn is a peer-mentor with the nonprofit organization TAPS (Tragedy Assistance Program for Survivors). Her writing has appeared in the quarterly TAPS magazine.
